Heroic Games Launcher

Play your Epic, GOG, and Amazon games on Linux.

What is Heroic?

Heroic Games Launcher is a free, open-source launcher for Epic Games, GOG, and Amazon Games. It brings games from those stores into one library, where you can install, update, and play them.

You sign in with your existing store accounts. Heroic is a community project, separate from the companies behind those stores.

Getting Heroic

Install Heroic from Flathub (opens in a new tab), or choose a download from the Heroic website (opens in a new tab).

An AppImage is available too if you’d prefer to download a single file.

What about Windows games?

Heroic can use Wine and Proton to run Windows games on Linux. Its built-in Wine Manager lets you download and manage these tools from the app.

Not every game will work. Check ProtonDB for player reports, though results from Steam may differ from other store versions. For multiplayer games, check Are We Anti-Cheat Yet? too.
